Think: sheer foundation, beige blush, and muted eyeshadow. He also attributes the recent re-emergence of the trend to the fact that plump, full lips have been in style for a while. “We are in the era of extra-pouty lips and by making them up in a nude tone they look wider,” he notes. “The outer shape of the lip merges with skin and the inner lip, making lips appear thicker.”
